14th Annual Community Arts Party

Making bucky balls out of construction paper. Something I'm glad I learned yesterday.
Making Tie-Dye shirts
Corn Husk Dolls
A good overview of the gym from the stands, there were about 1,000 people throughout the day.
Teaching kids how to throw bowls on a pottery wheel. I've personally never been any good at all at this.
Candle dipping, this kid had some trouble with grabbing the wick to dip it, he kept trying to hold it by the top of the wax.
Shrinky-Dinks (sp?)
That's a flower person with a Katana, FYI
Making bead/flower people
I made a few new friends

Yesterday was the 14th Annual Community Arts Party [nmtpas.org], and it was also the first one I've been to in a long time without running my duct tape roses table. In fact I've done that table every year since I was 16, and I think it might have been missed.

I'm a little tired of the duct tape roses though, does anyone have an idea for something else I could teach people to make out of colored duct tape?

I'm going to be helping set up proper photo albums on www.nmtpas.org, and at some point in the not too distant future there will likely be even more photos up there.
